Love Story
November 15, 2024
Our story began on November 15, 2024, at Lippo Mall Kemang. The mall was buzzing with excitement as crowds gathered for a live telecast of the Indonesia vs Japan soccer match, sponsored by Pepsodent.
Desi was working as a sales promotion girl (SPG), offering free dental check-ups and get a free Pepsodent Colgate. You have to fill up a survey to receive a free Pepsodent Colgate.
Desi spotted a table full of friends in the crowd and decided to approach them that’s when Desi met Zul.
Zul gave Desi that “I’m not interested” look when Desi asked Zul to fill out the survey, but Zul’s two friends weren’t having it. They backed Desi up and convinced Zul to fill out the survey. Little did Desi know, that survey would be the best one Desi ever handed out because by the end of it, Zul asked Desi for her number.
November 19, 2024
Four days later, on November 19, 2024, Zul’s first message came in. Zul reached out to get to know Desi, and jokingly said, “Who knows, maybe we’re meant to be.” Without hesitation, Desi said amin to that.
December 6, 2024
As time passed, we lost contact for about a month. But destiny brought us back together through a message on January 31, 2025. From that moment on, our communication grew closer and warmer, until finally, on February 14, 2025 a day full of love we officially began our relationship.
Our journey has not always been easy. We were in a long distance relationship between Indonesia and Singapore. But distance never diminished our feelings. Every month, Zul always made time to visit Desi. We filled our days with laughter, stories, and little adventures that strengthened our love.
September 16, 2025
At the end of 2025, Zul made up his mind to propose to Desi and take our relationship to a more serious level. After one year of a relationship filled with growth and certainty, we decided to bind our sacred promise of marriage on June 14, 2026.
From an unexpected meeting in the middle of a crowd, to a love story shaped by distance and time, we believe that everything has been beautifully written.
And now, with gratitude and love in our hearts, we are ready to begin a new chapter as husband and wife.
